In order to Commemorate 50 years of victory in 1971 War, the period between 03 Dec 2020 to 16 Dec 2021 is being celebrated as “Swarnim Vijay Varsh” across the country. In continuation with the series of events being planned to commemorate 50 years of the 1971 war, a 50 km cyclothon was organised at Ahmednagar. |

Cyclothon was flagged off by Brigadier Vijai Singh Rana, VSM Commandant Mechanised Infantry Regimental Centre. A large number of civilian cycling enthusiasts along with serving Armed Forces Personnel of various age groups participated. Cyclists followed the route from Haripal stadium, MIRC, through ACC and S, Chushul chowk, Christ Church, SKT, St Shenoy school board, Hanuman mandir, Darewadi and finally finished at Haripal stadium where a brunch was organised for all the participants. |
